Staying connected to loved ones matters. Our proprietary CaraSyst™ Technology allows family members of our residents to know how they are doing. Families and loved ones can log into the secure portal and view the latest reports and information from our staff. CaraSyst allows family members who are registered users and have a secure internet connection to view real-time information about their loved ones. Make the most of your time while visiting loved ones rather than spending valuable time getting updates from staff.
Our CaraSysted Living program reflects our systematic approach to delivering care services. CaraSysted Living ensures that each resident receives the personal care necessary to maintain optimal wellness.
CaraSysted Living includes several key components:
Initial Care Assessment
Initial care assessments are conducted for each resident upon his or her move into our community. This process is coordinated by our Resident Care Manager to predict and plan for care needs. Periodically, or as a resident’s condition changes, the care assessment is updated with the family.
Resident Care Plans
The resident care plan is tailored to meet the unique requirements of each resident, identifying both care management and hospitality needs. Using CaraSyst, our staff document care management and residential service delivery on a routine basis so our staff know and understand the typical needs of each resident. Repeated non-planned service requests and “Red Flag” conditions are also reported in real time so that our resident care manager can address any immediate needs or take appropriate action for any gradual changes in a resident’s condition.
Outcome reporting is the final CaraSysted Living component. Periodically, our resident care manager will use CaraSyst to prepare individual care management summaries to ensure our accountability for each resident’s care and happiness. These reports are not only useful for management and staff, but also help families understand their loved one’s specific care needs.

At Woodland Ridge, we go beyond the world of drug-based dementia and Alzheimer’s care and create therapies and applications that reinforce healthy behavior and functions.
Woodland Ridge residents have access to the IN2L (it’s never too late) technology. IN2L is a customized, state-of-the-art computer system built especially for assisted living; the program provides safe and easy Internet access and email, allows activities adapted to each resident’s unique abilities and interests, enriches communication with family and community, increases cognitive stimulation and enables creative and meaningful dementia programming.
At Woodland Ridge, we keep residents safe, and that includes knowing who is coming into the community. To do that, we employ Accushield – a front-entry, digital, sign-in kiosk that screens and verifies third-party vendors and service providers. This technology verifies with a photo that every third party vendor and service provider meets community specific requirements before a badge is printed and entry is granted. The Accushield system verifies that all vendors have a clear criminal background, sufficient liability insurance, adequate workers compensation, up-to-date immunization records, signed community waiver of liability and proper industry specific training.
